Injectables

The types of aesthetic injectables utilised by our Doctors at Northern Sydney Dermatology & Laser comprise soft tissue fillers to restore facial volume or reshape, (for example lips, naso-labial folds, cheeks, chin) and muscle relaxants to diminish facial wrinkles as well as to reduce excessive underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis).

Please note that only our experienced aesthetically trained doctors perform injectable treatments at Northern Sydney Dermatology & Laser.

For Wrinkles

Wrinkles are caused by both chronological age and by photoaging (ie ageing due to the sun). Muscle movement, loss of collagen and elastin, and smoking all contribute to wrinkle formation. Treatment of wrinkles depends on their severity and type. Anti-wrinkle injections can dramatically reduce wrinkles between the eyebrows, around the eyes and around the mouth.

For restoring facial volume

The loss of soft tissue volume occurs naturally as we age. Filler injections are a safe, non-surgical and effective method of lifting, rejuvenating and shaping the face.

Lip Reshaping

Lips lose volume, definition and shape as we age. Lip wrinkles, marionette lines and accordion lines can age your appearance. Fillers can replace lip volume and restore lip shape and definition.

Cheeks

As facial soft tissue volume is lost over time, the full, rounded cheeks characteristic of a youthful appearance is reduced and cheeks begin to hollow. Volumising dermal fillers replace and restore natural curves and fullness.

Forehead Lines

A common area where wrinkles are first noticed is the forehead area. The constant movement of muscles in the area from facial expression makes these lines appear. With muscle relaxation injections, these lines can be considerably reduced to refresh your appearance.

Jawline

A volume imbalance in facial soft tissue can make the skin droop and result in the appearance of jowls and a heaviness along the jaw line. Dermal and volumising fillers can enhance the jawline by lifting the skin.
