Dr Emily Forward

Dr. Emily Forward is a Fellow of The Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD). Dr Forward grew up in Perth where she studied medicine at the University of Notre Dame where she graduated in 2014. Prior to this she studied a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and worked for serveral years in Corporate Finance.
Dr. Forward has a wide range of experience after practicing dermatology at major teaching hospitals including Royal Prince Alfred, Prince of Wales Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital and The Skin Hospital. Dr Forward has also practiced at a number of rural and regional locations including Bourke, Brewarrina, Coffs Harbour, Dubbo, Taree and Orange.
Dr. Forward’s commitment to dermatology is paralleled by her strong social justice philosophy. Her dedication has taken her to developing countries and marginalised communities in India, Madagascar, and Ethiopia, where she has worked to provide essential medical care. This ongoing involvement underscores her belief in the importance of accessibility and equity in healthcare.
Dr. Forward has published extensively in peer reviewed journals and presented at national and internation conferences.
Dr. Forward is highly skilled in both medical and surgical dermatology with special interests in skin cancer management, laser dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, acne, paediatric dermatology and general dermatology, offering personalised and compassionate care to patients of all ages.
