What is Bioremodeller

Bioremodeller is a cutting-edge treatment that offers numerous benefits for those looking to revitalize their skin. One of the key benefits of bioremodeller is its ability to stimulate the production of collagen, a protein that plays a crucial role in the health and appearance of the skin. As we age, our collagen production naturally declines, which can lead to wrinkles, sagging, and other signs of aging. Bioremodeller can help to reverse these effects by boosting collagen production and restoring a more youthful appearance to the skin.

Bioremodelling Injectable Treatment

For the building phase, we will perform 2-3 treatments, 1 month apart. 80% of patients are happy with 2 treatments and 20% need/want a third. For the maintenance phase we will perform 1 treatment every 3-6 months.

Involves the use of a revolutionary product, called Profhilo, which is essentially a moisturising treatment for restoring firmness and hydration of the face & neck made with the patented NAHYCO® technology. Profhilo is composed of hyaluronic acid (HA), and in fact is one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid currently available. HA is a naturally occurring substance that is already found in our skin. It binds up to 1000 times its weight in water so is involved in the hydration of our skin. This treatment is considered a bio-remodelling treatment because it creates the right conditions in the skin for optimal growth of important skin cells involved in the health of our skin. Think of it like a hydrating treatment for your skin cells that stimulates the skin cell receptors to stimulate collagen and elastin production and hence remodel ageing and lax skin over time. It's a long term investment in skin quality.

Avoid taking blood thinners such as aspirin and NSAIDs for 1 week before. No immunisation or dental work 2 weeks prior to treatment. Avoid facials, laser treatments, chemical peels and microdermabrasion for 2 weeks. Do not wax, bleach or have electrolysis for 4 weeks. Cease prescription topical products 7 days before treatment. The safety of bio-remodelling in pregnancy and breast feeding is not fully known. Remove makeup & take 2 paracetamol if you have a low pain threshold. Your dermatologist will perform your treatment.

How does it feel? +

The treatment involves 5 treatment points on each side of the face using very fine needles and takes about 10 minutes. It is relatively painless. Small bumps like mosquito bites last 2 hrs- 24 hours after the treatment. After injection the product spreads like liquid honey under the skin. There is no pain afterwards. Minor bruising may occur.

Why have bioremodeller with a dermatologist?

Dermatologists are trained in facial anatomy and all things skin and can complement your treatment to ensure you achieve a globally enhanced outcome for your appearance and your skin. Beyond this, the added benefit of seeing a dermatologist is that they can answer your skin questions. At NSDL we rarely perform a treatment without someone asking her about a bump, lump, or mole or asking advice how to treat their skin.

If you are looking for a safe medically trained specialist & experienced provider knowledgable and want to achieve total improvement in skin faulty and appearance, then seeking care under a dermatologist is helpful.

While bioremodeller is a safe and effective treatment, it's important to note that there may be some side effects and risks associated with the procedure. These can include redness, swelling, and bruising, although these are typically mild and temporary. Additionally, the cost of bioremodeller can vary depending on the specific treatment plan and the individual's needs, so it's important to discuss pricing and payment options with a qualified dermatologist.

After your treatment +

Avoid exercise for a day. No dental procedures or immunisation for 2 weeks. Avoid saunas, spas, or any facials, microdermabrasion or chemical peels for 2 weeks. No laser treatments for a month.

At the end of the day if patients keep coming back we know the treatment must be effective. Bioremodeller is extremely popular and many patients tell us that all of their friends comment about their skin texture, glow and appearance after treatment.

Are there any risks +

We have been waiting patiently for this treatment in Australia. The treatment was released in 2015 and has been available ifor many n Italy, UK and Europe and has become popular and much sought after. Risks of this treatment are rare. You may experience a bruise, redness or bumps at the injection site that will resolve over the next day or so. Infection, allergy or delayed lumps are also possible but unlikely. Reported side effects are extremely rare since it's introduction into Europe many years ago.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

The treatment works by using a combination of radiofrequency to deliver heat deep into the skin, which stimulates the body's natural healing response and promotes the growth of new, healthy skin cells.
