Skin Polishing - Achieve a Youthful and Refreshed Look with minimal Downtime
When we want luminous skin but don’t have a lot of downtime a way to improve your skin's tone and texture is with a dermatologist-guided BBL Moxi treatment. This will not improve fine lines and wrinkles to the extent of a laser stacking procedure, but it will help you achieve a refreshed look.
What is BBL Moxi Treatment?
BBL Moxi treatment is a non-invasive procedure that uses broadband light to improve the appearance of your skin. It is an innovative technology that combines two popular treatments - BroadBand Light (BBL) and Moxi - to help you achieve a more youthful and refreshed look.
BBL Moxi treatment can address a variety of skin concerns, including: Uneven skin tone, Sun damage, age spots, Acne scars, Fine lines and wrinkles, Rosacea., Enlarged pores
Why Choose A Dermatologist for BBL Moxi Treatment?
Dermatologists are trained physicians and can give you a global plan towards long term skin health. We assess the skin, guide you whether you have any underlying skin problems, conditions or significant sun damage/ precancerous change that can lead to skin cancer. Often dermatologists see patients who have had laser elsewhere and have had cancerous lesions treated inappropriately by untrained beauticians/ laser therapists who don’t know what they don’t know. Dermatologists can help answer questions about lumps or bumps on the skin and confidently know if they are a concern. We know how to sustain results for the long term and don’t offer packages that won’t lead to long term outcomes.
How Does BBL Moxi Treatment Work?
During the BBL Moxi treatment, Dr Wines and her team will use a handheld device to deliver broadband light energy to your skin. The light energy will target the pigmented areas of your skin, such as age spots and sun damage, and stimulate the production of collagen, which helps to improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
The Moxi component of the treatment resurfaces the skin by promoting cellular turnover and improving skin tone and texture.
What Can You Expect During BBL Moxi Treatment?
The BBL Moxi treatment is a non-invasive procedure that requires minimal downtime. The procedure typically takes about 30 minutes to complete, and you can return to your normal activities immediately after the treatment. Your skin will be pink and warm for the first couple of days and then will start to shed. The amount of shedding will be determined by how aggressive you want the treatment to be and your downtime available. .
