QS Nano laser
The Lutronic Hollywood Spectra Q-Switched Nano laser is an advanced Nd:YAG laser platform that operates at dual wavelengths of 1064nm and 532nm. It utilises short, high-intensity pulses to target skin pigmentation issues, stimulate collagen production, and improve overall skin texture.
What can be treated with QS Nano Laser?
This laser is versatile, suitable for all skin types, and can treat conditions such as melasma, pigmented lesions, acne scars, iron stains, and enlarged pores with minimal downtime.
What does treatment involve?
Depending on what we are treating, you will require 1-5 treatments usually separated by 3-4 weeks. Iron stains often require up to 10 treatments.
For best results, melasma requires an initial 5 treatments, followed by maintenance treatments every 3 months.
During the treatment, your skin will be cleaned and the areas marked.
Eye protection will be put in place.
The treatment itself feels like “prickles” on the skin – it is not a painful treatment.
Treatment takes approximately 15-30 minutes for a full face.
There may be a slight flush to the skin immediately afterwards, which usually settles within a few hours.
As we have not broken the skin, you may apply makeup straight afterwards if you wish.
You will be advised on aftercare.
If we are treating pigmented spots, you may develop some crusting of the lesions, which usually resolves within 1 week. We will advise on how to manage this.
