SkinTyte BBL
What is BBL SkinTyte?
The BBL SkinTyte is a non-invasive treatment option for advanced skin tightening benefits by increasing skin firmness and reducing the appearance of skin laxity and sagging. The SkinTyte device uses innovative broadband light technology to safely and effectively produce bulk heating in the dermis of the skin. This heat initiates the body’s natural healing responses while simultaneously generating partial denaturation and contraction of collagen fibres. The denaturing and contracting response allows for the breakdown of old, weak collagen and elastin fibres and encourages the opportunity and activation of new and stronger collagen and elastin development.
Collagen is the skins most abundant protein that provides the basis of our skins strength, density and structure. Elastin is also an integral protein in the skin that provides elasticity, giving the skin its ability to stretch and snap back into position. Our skin changes as we age as there is a decrease in the amount of collagen and elastin in the skin, which leads to a reduction skin firmness, thickness and strength. This can result in the skin looking thinner, tired and less firm. Skin laxity can become a concern for individuals especially around the lower face and neck and there are limited non-surgical options that have proven efficacy. SkinTyte is a non-surgical option to address and improve these concerns and encourage stronger, thicker and healthier looking skin.
SkinTyte is a non-invasive treatment option with less associated discomfort and downtime compared with other laser and light based treatments.
